Donation Request

At Gardners Candies, we are committed to supporting our community and giving back to organizations that make a positive impact. To ensure fairness and efficiency in handling donation requests, we have established the following policies and guidelines:
 
Eligibility Criteria:
  • We prioritize donations to organizations, schools, and community groups that are current participants in one of our fundraising programs.
  • Requests must come from organizations located within the regions where Gardners Candies operates, primarily Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and surrounding areas.
  • Donations are typically made to support fundraising events, charitable auctions, and community programs that align with our values.
  • Organizations may submit one request per calendar year.
Note: Monetary and gift card donation requests are not accepted.

Review Process:
  • Requests are reviewed by our Donations Committee on a weekly basis.
  • Organizations that have been approved will be notified within 7-10 business days of approval.
  • Approved donations must be picked up at our Tyrone Factory.
  • If you do not receive an email within 7–10 business days confirming your approval, your request did not meet our donation criteria.
Request for Submission Guidelines:
  • Requests must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the event date.
  • Requests must be submitted through our online donation request form on the Gardners Candies website.
  • Mail, email, phone or US Mail requests will not be accepted.
  • Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Excluded from Consideration:
  • Individuals, families or personal fundraising efforts
  • Events or organizations outside our geographic focus
  • Competitions, activities or efforts such as competitions, golf outings, recognition events, holiday parties, door prizes, giveaways, and rewards or other incentive programs
  • Sponsorships or donations for individual participants or teams involved in walk-a-thons, contests, pageants, scholarship programs, reunions, or ambassador programs or similar activities.
